Dan Mihai
Founding Partner
Dan has wide experience in providing legal advice to both local and multinational companies. His main areas of expertise are corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial litigation, and sport law.
Dan regularly participates as speaker at conferences and seminars open to the general public or specialists, on matters such as commercial law, sports law and GDPR.
Since November 2022 Dan has been a Member of the Commission of Appeal on prevention and fight against doping in sport (General Secretariat of the Government). During last year, Dan has been elected as arbitrator for the EODID Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization.
Starting with 2021, Dan has been appointed by Sport Resolutions to the International Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators. He was a member of the Disciplinary Panel for the Romanian Tennis Federation, from 2022 to 2024.
In December 2021, Dan became an arbitrator for the Permanent Court of Arbitration within AHK Romania. Between 2019-2022 Dan was also a member of the Appeal Panel of the Romanian Handball Federation.
He is also involved in several projects at regional level, and he is currently the Secretary General of Proteus – an international network of law firms. Dan has become a member of REX Sport, an association of sport law practitioners since 2022.
Dan is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association.
Maria Ilin
Partner
Maria has extensive experience as a litigation lawyer, and provides/coordinates assistance and representation of clients in complex litigation files for all degrees of jurisdiction, working primarily with companies and other legal persons, in a wide range of litigious matters in administrative and tax, IP/IT, privacy, labour, consumer complaints.
Her experience includes assistance, preparation, coordination and complex negotiation of litigious and/or potentially litigious situations both for local and multinational companies. Maria has also dealt with a number of reorganization procedures, disciplinary procedures, disputes with former members of the corporate management, negotiations with trade unions, etc.
Maria also provides assistance related to personal data protection and privacy, being a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and of the Association of Privacy and Data Protection Specialists (ASCPD), having actively finalized GDPR consulting and assurance missions. She has also delivered and led numerous lectures on the topic of GDPR in collaboration with representatives of the IT sector.
Last but not least, Maria was acknowledged for her active role in the international network of law firms Proteus (www.proteuslaw.eu), having close links with lawyers from all EU countries and beyond.
Maria is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2000.
Dana Buruiană
Dana is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2009. In the last few years she approached the business consultancy covering a wide range of business relationships, both for local and multinational companies, with focus on real estate, marketing and mass production.
Never forgot the litigation area that she started the career with, her experience including assistance, preparation, coordination and complex negotiation of litigious and/or potentially litigious situations both for companies and individuals in various litigation areas such as commercial law, trademark law, criminal and administrative law.
Her professional belief is that flexibility is the key element of our profession and remains opened to new and encourages the strong interaction and relationship with the clients and joint efforts to achieve common goals being also committed to continuous personal and professional development.
Ana-Maria Grigore
Ana is a mediator registered with the Mediation Council in Romania and has proved excellent skills in advising clients towards resolving their matters in a non-combative and satisfactory manner through mediation sessions.
Ana’s main focus is liaising between our clients and the Romanian Trade Register and has solid experience in managing the intricacies of handling a company’s file with Trade Register civil servants. She has also drafted and dealt with a great number of complex M&A documents and issues, thus ensuring the statutory functioning of our legal person clients.
An important member of our team, Ana’s advice always takes into consideration both the legal and business aspects of our clients’ projects.
Ana holds a Degree in Law.
Gabriela Dimancescu
Gabriela is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2015 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Bucharest.
She started her career as a litigation lawyer, gaining extensive experience in assisting both companies and individuals in various litigation cases, mainly in areas such as civil law, commercial law, administrative law and labour law.
Gabriela has since moved into business consultancy, where her litigation experience has proved invaluable, as she is now able to analyse a client's legal matter from a potential litigation perspective.
Gabriela provides clients with the legal framework for their day-to-day activities, mainly in the areas of civil, commercial and labour law. Gabriela is involved in various complex projects such as: drafting and negotiating various types of contracts, disciplinary procedures and labour law documents, various internal procedures such as anti-harassment, anti-money laundering or whistleblowing, terms and conditions for websites or opinions on various legal topics. Gabriela also has experience in sports law.
Gabriela's work ethic is focused on gaining knowledge in different areas of practice, as she believes that the key to our profession is the constant desire for improvement and personal development, whilst meeting the expectations of clients in order to achieve a common goal.
She is fluent in English and holds a translator certificate for legal English.
Mariana Voinea
Mariana is a member of Bucharest Bar Association since 2009 and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Bucharest.
Her entire career has been focused on business consultancy, including the following main areas of expertise: labour law, corporate/M&A, commercial law and real estate & construction law.
In addition to the expertise acquired in these main areas, she has successfully represented both Romanian and international companies involved in projects in areas such as: energy, logistics, intellectual property and trademarks.
In her position, she was involved in the day-to-day business of the clients, providing legal advice, negotiating and concluding all types of agreements and due diligence reports in various transactions. Mariana has also been involved in several reorganisation and disciplinary procedures.
She has also participated as a speaker in labour law seminars open to the general public or professionals
For Mariana, the key to successful legal advice is to understand the client's business and build a relationship of trust.
Mariana holds a Certificate of expert in labour legislation and she is fluent in English and French.
Alexandra Voinea
Alexandra is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2014 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Bucharest.
She started her career working as a litigation lawyer covering various litigious and potentially litigious situations in areas such as civil and commercial law, labor law, insolvency law and other legal fields.
Alexandra worked as a legal consultant and in-house lawyer for one of Romania’s leading banks, where she gained valuable knowledge of the finance and banking law and the relevant legal framework.
In the last few years, she approached the business consultancy field covering a wide range of business relationships, both for local and multinational companies, with focus on commercial law, immigration law, consumer’s law, corporate, real estate, and e-commerce.
In this position she was involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, competition regulation, provided assistance in obtaining work permit, residence permit or long stay visa for employment in front of the General Inspectorate for Immigration for UE and non-UE citizens.
She also provided legal advice in consumer law matters and legal assistance in front of the ANPC authority regarding the compliance with the domestic legislation and EU regulations.
Isabelle Asanache
Isabelle has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2019. She holds a Laws Bachelor's degree from the University of Bucharest. She also graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the College Juridique Franco-Roumain d'études européennes, Université Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2018.
Isabelle started her legal career in the field of dispute resolution, thus gaining experience in several areas such as civil and commercial law, labour law and other legal fields. After gaining experience in dispute resolution, Isabelle has been involved in various consultancy projects in the fields of labour law, intellectual property, commercial law, data protection, IT, such as drafting and analysing various contracts, preparing legal opinions upon clients' request, operations at the Romanian Trade Register. Isabelle has also been involved in several due diligence exercises for national and international transactions.
Isabelle's work is guided by a constant willingness to develop each specific skill of a lawyer and gain of knowledge in different areas of practice.
Alexandra Boncea
Graduated from the Faculty of Law at "Nicolae Titulescu '' University in Bucharest in 2020, Alexandra passed the entrance exam for the profession of lawyer in the session organized in September 2022. Previously she carried out her activity in the field of debt management.
Cristina Bucur
Graduated from the “Nicolae Titulescu University – Faculty of Law in 2020, Cristina started her career working as a litigation lawyer covering multiple areas such as civil, labor or family law. With a strong foundation in various legal domains, she consistently demonstrates a keen understanding of the details within Civil Law, Corporate Law, Family Law, and Labor Law.
Previously she carried out her activity in the field of human resources, being also a certified member of the National Union of Experts in Labor Law.
As part of Cristina's role, she actively engages in comprehensive legal research, providing invaluable insights into complex legal matters. Her proficiency extends to drafting legal documents and notices, and is a trusted advisor to our clients, offering expert legal assistance and crafting well-reasoned legal opinions on diverse issues. She excels in reviewing and analyzing contractual clauses, ensuring our clients' interests are safeguarded.
With a focus on Civil Law, Labor Law, and Commercial Law, Cristina is an essential asset to our legal team, consistently delivering exceptional service and outcomes for our clients.

Cosmin Maga
Graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law in 2021. Cosmin passed the bar admission exam in spring 2022. Cosmin has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since May 2022. Before joining our team, Cosmin was part of a law firm associated with a Big Four Consulting Company.
Cosmin was involved in several due diligence exercises for various national and international transactions, as well as other specific tasks and projects related to the corporate law area. The activities performed included legal research, drafting of different documents, and preparing legal opinions at the clients’ request. With a focus on real estate, his advice covered, also, commercial, contracts and compliance aspects.
Cosmin believes that the advice given to clients should cater for their needs, by identifying the closest legal structure for the client’s envisaged scope.
Tudor Voinicu
Tudor earned his Law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest in 2023 and finalized an LL.M. Programme in International Arbitration, provided by the same institution.
Through his studies, Tudor discovered the vital connection between international, European, and national regulations, as well as the intricate interplay between arbitral disputes and litigations, particularly in the fields of Intellectual Property, Construction and Sports Law.
His academic journey encapsulates his shift from a Civil law background, such as Romanian law, to the nuanced world of arbitration. This experience has broadened his legal perspective, allowing him to display his adaptability and willingness to embrace diverse legal frameworks, thus reflecting his personal and professional growth.
Tudor firmly believes that efficient communication is crucial in order to prevent any potential misunderstandings or conflicts. By establishing clear and open ways of communication, he asserts that it is highly unlikely not to find a solution to any issue that may arise.
As of June 2024, he is a member of the Bucharest Bar Association.
Raluca Mihai
Raluca is a Human Resources’ generalist and within our office she is acting as a trustworthy partner for the management team. Her activities include internal communication, recruitment, compliance, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits.
Raluca has over 15 years experience in human resources, being involved in processes and projects including teams of 25-60 people. During her career she was part of developing and implementing processes of evaluation and compensations & benefits.
She is an active member of the Romanian HR community - HR Club, since 2006.
